Established in 2008, Max Air Disc Dogs has built a strong reputation for developing skilled disc dog teams through clear, structured training and a focus on strong foundations.
We are passionate about helping handlers and their dogs build engagement, drive, and teamwork, whether you're just starting out or looking to progress in the sport. Our training approach blends proven techniques with a supportive environment, ensuring both dog and handler can learn, improve, and enjoy the journey.
At Max Air Disc Dogs, we’re committed to setting both dogs and handlers up for success from day one. To maintain a high standard of training and provide individual attention, we run limited beginner intakes.
This structured approach allows us the time to properly assess each dog and help new members build a strong foundation aligned with our training methods.
Our beginner intake is designed to introduce you and your dog to the fundamentals of dog training in a supportive, controlled environment.
As part of your intake, you’ll receive:
To ensure quality coaching and individual attention: Maximum of 6 new members per intake
Dogs must be a minimum of 5 months old to attend
All beginner intake costs are paid upfront and include everything you need to get started:
Beginner Intake Fees: $70
Includes your Membership, your first 2 training night fees, a competition approved Disc
By limiting intake numbers and spacing out new member entries, we can:
Spots are limited and fill quickly each intake period. If you're interested in joining the next beginner intake, we recommend registering your interest early.
Take the next step in your dog training journey and start refining the skills that build consistency, control, and confidence.
Our Intermediate classes are designed for teams who have completed beginner foundations and are ready to progress their handling and dog performance. The focus shifts from learning basics to developing reliability and improving execution.
Each session is structured to help you improve your skills step-by-step, ensuring both you and your dog continue to progress with clarity and purpose.
For experienced teams ready to push their performance further, our Advanced classes are focused on precision, flow, and competition-level skills.
At this level, training becomes more detailed and performance-driven, with an emphasis on refining both Disc routines and Kynex-based work.
This class is about maximising your team’s potential, helping you perform with confidence, accuracy, and style.
Our program is designed to support continuous improvement across both Disc Dog and Kynex sports. Each level builds on the last, giving you a clear pathway from beginner through to advanced performance.
No matter your starting point, the goal remains the same:
improve your skills, strengthen your partnership, and enjoy the process with your dog.
Ongoing training for Intermediate and Advanced classes is $15 per team, per session.
Please note that registration is required for all training nights and will close on the Thursday prior to each advertised session.
Training 2nd Saturday Night of the month.
